The view separation distance is calculated the first time you come into "Dimensioning". If you add more parts or expand the size of your assembly, it is very easy for the views to overlap.

To change the overlap distances, select the cell in the "Dimension Defaults" grid that represents the value for the "View Vert Offset" or "View Hori Offset". You will now be able to change the value. As this value increases it will increase the spacing between views.
